8 Ball Pool:
The objective of the game is to pocket all your balls, either striped or colored. The type of ball you pocket on your next move after breaking the pyramid determines the type of ball you or your opponent will pocket next. If you successfully pocket all your balls, you must then pocket the black eight in the pocket of your choice. If you pocket the eight before pocketing all the other balls, you will instantly lose the game.
9 Ball Pool:
The goal of the game is to pocket nine different balls on the table. For each turn, the white cue ball must hit the ball with the lowest number.
